What will be the outcome if I am a tenant at a duplex that might be becoming foreclosed?

I am signed on a 1 year lease which ends March 1, 2008. I came home the other day and there was a note on my door saying the property will be up for auction on February 11, 2008. I called the phone number on the paper and they said the owner has not paid the mortgage since March 1, 2007 (ironically, that was the day I moved in). Which is more legally binding, a lease or a mortgage? Will I at least get to live there until March? What happens once the duplex is purchased by someone else? I called the landlord and he ured me that it would be ok, and that "this is a legal matter between me and the previous owner.". I feel he is lying to me. What do I do?!?!

How do musicians (& artists) cope with Reality or real life?

I am a musician, and have often pondered this. Like what if i ever had to get a full now musical job? or how would someone who loves music just quit? I don't ever believe someone "can't" do something, unless its physically impossible. I think that in my life, and anyone elses who really feels they are pionate about music (like yourself), will have to decide whether the have the courage to jump in and go for it or not. You can make you pions a reality, if your willing to keep at it, pursue it, and just plain put in the time and effort without making excuses. You'd have to practice everyday, and play gigs that may not be "top notch", but if you keep pushing forward, you can make it big! Don't be afraid to go for what you really want!

My eyes are always red and its so annoying. I have no idea why. Theyre blood shot all of the time and I get teary eyed for the dumbest reasons. I also always cry and its totally involuntary. If Im mad or cough or yawn or anything I start to cry. How can I become less emotional all the time and make my eyes less red? I dont wear contacts or anything. I wear heavy black eye makeup. Can the NERF N-STRIKE STAMPEDE ECS use suction darts?

It is impossible to use suction or micro darts with a clip. I recommend you buy a good amount of streamline (now called clip system) darts and put away, give to a friend, or sell at a yard sale the micro or suction darts so you don't have to worry about the compatibility. If you want to buy other guns, I recommend the Longstrike CS-6. It is easily modded (you need a .2 inch drill bit that is a foot long) if you ask around on the internet.

Starting over is never an easy thing to do, but if you are having doubts in that the school you are currently attending is not the best for you, it's good that you are giving it at least a thought. There are a couple other factors you should be looking at, like maybe living expenses? Comparative cost of schooling? It appears that your school now offers many things that you need, but maybe not everything you want. Guaranteed if you transferred you would adapt and make friends just as easily. Easy to start cold, but hard when warm?

Not always easy without seeing vehicle Remove spark plugs and look at the colour, and if they are warn out. The part shop will know if they are warn out if you cannot get any help from friend etc. But if in doubt they can still help the running of the car for a small price. They are cheaper than an hourly mechanic fee. The colour should be just a very light brown, but not black and oily. Place 1 sparkplug lead onto spark plug and with the s/plug resting on a metal part of the engine. turn the engine over with key, as if you are starting. ( you will need some one to help while you look.) And look and see if their is a health looking spark. Weak no good but if it is just looking bright it probable is OK. Even buy one sparkplug and try this to compare spark if you do not want to spend much money, or borrow 1 sparkplug. To compare spark by sight it does not have to be the same number as you are not fitting it to car , but the spark from 1 plug to another will look the same. If plugs are black change them, and look to see if the choke is working, going on when cold and off when hot. Most of these things it probably will not be , but you just have to go through the procedure and eliminate every thing as you go. Make sure all battery leads and connections are clean and not corroded. But you should know that if the motor is turning over fast or slow. But if you are doing it your self it is then cheap , and remember everything can help. When the car is a 1987 you have to check most of these thing anyway with a normal engine tune up. So if you do not do it the mechanic will check them all anyway, except you have to pay for it.I have had cars that start cold but when hot no start , and just connections. Yes if it has ignition point they may well be dirty, and if spark weak the condenser may need replaced. Depending on the ignition system, weather it is points or electronic.Their is many reasons why some cars do not start. The spark plugs leads also can start breaking down. A ohms meter will tell you this. Some of you friends or you may have one of them. they are cheap anyway.Check your car lead ohm`s readings compared with another car leads they should be similar.hardly two cars are faulty. As you do not need to replace if not needed,.These things are just normal things to be tested for such problems such as hard starting. Sometime it can be the most un obvious thing . that can be over looked. But to a trained eye most thing are not difficult, but don`nt be fooled. even the best can have difficulty with certain faults. When the air filter hose is off with a torch look down the carburettor and when you move throttle see if their is any fuel spraying out a small accelerating pump jet. If all thing fail buy some Spray Easy Start, and spray down the carburettor when hot, if it fires only or hopefully starts., to me it would tell me that the ignition is all OK as it fired ( if it did not fire then could be ignition trouble as it should at least fire with Easy Start - as the easy start is then the fuel so should ignite. So if It fires but not start to me it tells me it must be fuel problems. It is all in, correct diagnoses, procedure. Could be fuel block in line filter but would not think so if when driving you have no problems. Normally fuel block lets you know when you are powering up the road. But look at in line fuel filter if 1 is fitted. Never heard of radiator cap stopping starting , but who knows what god will do if you are misbehaving. ( but not a god believer, but for those that are who know`s ) I am a mechanic and are 61 years old. So have many year`s experience. But can not bet looking at the car physically my self. And as you knows every one knows better,after the problem is fixed. But while you are doing it they are not to be seen. Hope this helps.Good luck.

Is playing the race card a good way to milk the system?

I just heard the Romanians are leaving Ireland and heading home, but now they have the attention of some concerned citizens who otherwise wouldn't have spat at them on the streets when they're begging are going out of their way to help them. Playing on peoples sympathy's does work. Not only that the city fathers will try and do damage control, so will the housing executive and the social and the FEC and all the other civic bodies. Addicted to food? Depressed, lonely, overwhelmed...help?

What should I do? I am always depressed or on the verge of a meltdown. My mood fluctuates like a seesaw, I eat all the time, graze all day and sometimes eat A LOT at once...I hate to see food wasted so if others in my family aren't going to eat it I will try to. I crave certain foods so much that I'll think about them all the time, look forward to eating them, and will do so alone and hide it from my husband who will just yell at me for it. My husband almost never shows me any kind of affection. The last time I got a voluntary hug from him was when we were dating like 5 or so years ago. The only affection I get is an occasional tap on the lips when he is in a good mood, or the dreaded call he needs every so often. I dread it cuz I hate how I look and how I feel afterwards. I feel like I've been used, and feel very unsatisfied cuz I rarely ever cuz he's done in like a minute or less, no kidding. He's always got something he's ticked at me for. I feel like 90% of the time I am in a daze, I am so forgetful sometimes that it scares me, cuz I have forgotten to do some things that could have endangered someone else. I am so pathetic, I have 3 kids, who I am homeschoooling, they are wonderful kids, (they are only 5,3 &1), but they are kind of undisciplined. They obey about 60% of the time, most of it being outside of the home....and some at home, If I am in a good mood and doing what I should, then they will listen much much more. The 5 year old has mild form of autism, and the 3 year old is very delayed in speech, the 1 year old is fine, but VERY demanding of my time (Still sleeps in bed with me and husband). My house is messy, laundry isn't kept up with. Right now I have about 6 loads of laundry to do and I haven't even started. I feel as if there is no point to most housework because it gets messy almost immediately, and looks even worse than before I started. While I am in one room cleaning, the kids are in another room destroying it...jumping off furniture. When I become aware of what they are doing I stop them and reprimand them. Time outs are daily, but stuff still happens. My husband disagrees with homeschooling and so does his entire side of the family. My side of the family agrees with me homeschooling. In fact my 5, and 3 year old are both progressing. I am inconsistent tho, the schooling is at a dif time every day, routine is almost non existent, and I know my 5 year old needs that consistent daily routine. I do almost no housework all day, anything I do get done either goes un-noticed by my husband or family or is destroyed before they get here. Nobody seems to want to visit me, everyone's always busy, nobody really calls, only my Dad once in a while. I do not have a license, nor a car. We have a truck (was my husband's before we got married), but it seats 5 uncomfortably. He doesn't like it when I drive, he yells and badgers and nags and stresses me out when I drive cuz I don't drive like him and I should apparently know everything. We cannot afford a new vehicle, and I can't even get out of the house to practice driving/ learn or get a license cause I am stuck here. I have a learner's permit. I almost never get time away from my kids, if I do it's like 1 hour or so and interrupted constantly by my husband. We haven't gone on a date in a year or so. i feel like I am holding my 1 year old all day, and I still feed her too. I have no support/no life and nobody even seems to care. What's the freakin' point. The only thing that gets me out of bed in the morning is my kids. I love them so much and I want the best for them, but am frustrated cuz I can't seem to give it to them. I know I wrote a lot here...so maybe you can just pick one issue and give your 2 cents.

If I'm making a 1L solution of pH 2.7, I'd look for a buffer that operates in that range, and titrate the solution with acid/base with a pH meter. There's no reason to make a calculation!
