Will AT&T let me get a new phone?

If you get anythng, it will be a warranty repair or replacement of the phone with the same model. You will not get a captivate unless you pay full retail for it. AT&T doesn't do trade-ins. You will not be eligible for the new customer price until you've completed 20 months of your contract and are eligible for an upgrade.
