Anyone else mixed racial living in the south? or anyone at all?

i live in georgia and im new. has anyone had any problems wih making friends? cuz i just move here and then some of the white people r like scared of me or something wen im light skinned and then all the blck people ive met r more accepting but idk wich group i'd fit in. im in high school. wut do u guys think? im from ny so im not used to everything being seperated racially..
