How hot can water be before it can kill?

My 7 year old son is wondering.....how hot a bath can a person take before the water is dangerously hot and may kill someone? Obviously we know boiling water can be deadly, but is there a specific temperature that someone would soak in and over heat to the point of 'expiration'?
