For those of you who really know what America used to be?

I am with you and Thomas Jefferson 100%. I believe things can change for the better, but the first thing that has to change is the American people. We have to stop looking for "freebies" (nothing is free). We have to stop voting crooks and con-men into office. We have to live responsibly ourselves whatever that takes and teach our children to do the same and expect it from them. We have to stop this "everybody is a victim" mentality and get back to justice, personal responsibility, honesty, and common sense and wisdom. We have to get back to holding elected officials accountable for everything they do in office. We have to be willing to sacrifice in our personal lives to bring things back. We have to stop letting every nutcase shove their agenda down our throats and stop our government from taking care of everyone who doesn't want to take care of themselves.
