WDYT of these character personalities ?

Honesty? The way you've described them makes them all sound very cliche and Mary/Gary Sue-like. It all depends on the story and how well it's written, if you want to make them more realistic. Especially James Alexander, as he sounds like he's the focus of the story from the longer description. What caused his sleep disorders and depression? Is there some family strife going on that's making him so stressed even though he is only 14 years old? To me, his description would suit a slightly older character, perhaps 16-18.
