Why are homes in the suburbs in Texas so affordable compared to so many other suburbs across the country?

Because Texas (with the exception of cultured Austin & fun San Antonio) is a pretty crappy place to live! If you set aside the weather, dry counties & lack of good Mexican restaurants.... you still have TEXANS to deal with. Do you know what ******... who runs a country, considers Texas as his home?
