Why did Reginald Raygun Fail to turn things around in his first 8 months?

The difference will be seen in four years, not eight months. We came out of the Reagan years quite nicely. I can only compare it to what Obama has done so far, which is completely opposite of what Reagan did. If Obama gets the same results, I will be impressed. Hell, if he gets half the results Reagan got, it'll be a friggin' miracle.
